Standard hearing protection includes ear pads and ear plugs. Each type or brand has its own specific properties, such as the damping ratio and the possibilities in respect of, for example, communication and/or radio.
Customised hearing protection consists of ear moulds.
The ear moulds are noted for:
- Customisation, which results a high level of comfort
- Optimal filter choice, depending on the application
- Combination options with external equipment (communication/radio)
- Active and passive damping
- The possibility of testing for leak tightness and damping.
